Our
founder Lance Pitlick, founding partner of Sweet
Hockey and inventor of SweetHands Stick Handling Hockey
Trainer, played 393 games in National Hockey League
(NHL) spanning over twelve seasons with the Ottawa Senators
and the Florida Panthers. Lance is a graduate of the
University of Minnesota, where he was a standout defenseman
and captain of the Minnesota Golden Gophers hockey team.
He ran his own highly successful hockey camp, “Lance
Pitlick’s Hockey Skill Development School” for five
years.
Lance is currently a youth
hockey coach in the Wayzata Hockey Association in Minnesota
and he also works as a skill development coach for several
other programs. Lance invented Sweet Hands in response
to the lack of true skill development tools available
for young hockey players. His goal is for every young
player to develop their skills, have fun doing it, and
develop the love and respect for the game that he shares
today.
SweetHands is the most innovative
stickhandling product on the market today. Consisting
of eight (8) total pieces (two end pieces with arm and
two bases, and six middle pieces with one base and one
arm), SweetHands can be configured into one 8 foot training
device or two separate 4 foot devices.
